How Our Charity Giving Works
The Miss Night in Venice Charity is committed to supporting nonprofit organizations that make a meaningful difference in our local community. Each year, we invite eligible charities to apply for funding to assist with their programs, services, and outreach efforts.
Our goal is to ensure that all donations are distributed responsibly, transparently, and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Who Can Apply
Organizations seeking funding must be registered nonprofit organizations in good standing. To be considered, applicants must hold 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and meet all required reporting and registration standards.
Application Timeline
- Application Deadline: April 1st of each year
- Applications received after this date may not be considered for that funding cycle.
What We Require
To ensure fairness and accountability, all funding requests must include the following documentation:
- A copy of the original IRS Determination Letter showing the organization’s EIN and 501(c)(3) status
- A copy of the most recent IRS Form 990 or 990-N Summary
- A copy of the most recent New Jersey Charitable Registration (CRI) filing
- The organization’s name, mailing address, and primary mission statement
- Contact information for the organization, including an email address and phone number
- The specific dollar amount requested
- A clear explanation of how the requested funds will be used
Incomplete applications cannot be reviewed.
How Funding Decisions Are Made
All submitted requests are reviewed by the Miss Night in Venice Pageant Committee. Funding decisions are based on:
- Alignment with our mission and community values
- The organization’s demonstrated impact
- Financial transparency and compliance
- The clarity and purpose of the funding request
Funding amounts may vary depending on available funds and the number of qualified applicants.
